Data sources

Everything this site reads, under what licence, and how current it is. Scores were last computed on Nov 7, 2026.

Reading this page

Updated by source is when the publisher last changed the data. Our copy is when we downloaded it. Our copy can be older than the source, because we refresh in batches rather than every time a publisher does.

Some City layers have not changed since 2019. We still use them because they are the latest versions the City publishes, so scores built on them, such as canopy cover, describe the land as it was mapped then.

Not specified means we have not confirmed a licence for this source, not that none applies. Where the City’s listing leaves the licence blank, we treat the dataset as covered by the Open Government Licence – Toronto, because the City publishes it on its open data portal, and the table marks that as an assumption.
